Illustration
"As an illustrator, I strive to study as many styles as possible. I began my career by illustrating flowers with a ballpoint pen at the observatory of flowers in my early 20s. I then moved into comics, followed by story-driven scenes incorporating color and texture. Nowadays, I experiment with styles I've never tried before to push my artistic boundaries."
Cuban Structures
"These lovely buildings are part of a set of illustrations I created for a documentary piece on a Cuban painter. I was hired to illustrate and animate a 30-second segment. I spent much of my time studying the structures, lighting, and culture of the Cuban islands."
Wake N Skate Backgrounds
"A personal project of mine, these illustrations were created for my 2D animated limited series, Wake N Skate, which is still in the works. The story follows a BIPOC non-binary young adult as they navigate their past, present, and future, exploring themes of trauma, addiction, friendship, skateboarding, and psychedelics."
Comic Books for BIA
"Returning to my roots in illustration, this project features comic strip-style storytelling with heavy ink-based illustrations created in Procreate and later animated."
Other Works & Styles
"Here are some of my favorite styles from my 12-14 years in animation and illustration. Some pieces are personal explorations, while others are from client work. In all varieties, I strive to illustrate with the passion I have for studying light, motion, and emotion."
